AMALYA SHANDELMAN
Amalya Shandelman knew she was attracted to photography at an early age, and traversed the streets of Moscow capturing images of the city. Following high school, Amalya studied journalism at university and then moved to Boston and later to Houston where her photography practice took off. Amalya specializes in expansive natural landscapes and emotional personal portraits. She is currently expanding her repertoire to include cultural projects with partners such as the British Museum.
