Infinite Summits of the Night

If you just make your ceramic houses small enough, a 6-inch chunk of rock can become an entire mountain. A review of my father’s large abstract sculptures in the late 60s stated frankly that his work “f*cks with scale.” So, it’s interesting that I do the same in almost every piece, endlessly using scale to make my small pieces feel vast.
