KRISTIN ANDERSON

Kristin Anderson is a photographer based in Alameda, California.

Her recent series of photographs, "Generation Alpha," is inspired by the awakening and surrealistic feelings of the pandemic.  Combining images of people long since gone with imagined and dream spaces, the artist invites the spectator to imagine new realities. The magic and uncertainty of these images narrate both frightening and fairytale stories. 

As Anderson describes it: "The fear and fascination are both timeless and brand new, reborn with each generation."

Along with her photographic practice, Kristin is an accomplished creative professional with extensive experience across multiple disciplines, including UI/UX, visual design, art direction, design management, and education.
