Spanish artist-designer Laura Niubó has built a robust practice centered around the emotional power of color. Hailing from Mallorca and currently living in Los Angeles, she operates as a design director, art director, and commissioned artist. Her projects range from film, photography, brand identities, experiential, and global campaigns for some of the world’s most transformational brands, including Apple, Google, Louis Vuitton, Airbnb, Netflix - and music artists like Zedd, Vlossom, and Childish Gambino.
Niubó gravitates toward light-filled spaces and places emphasis on creating immersive, colorful worlds that invite viewers to explore relationships between color and movement, and by extension, their relationships with themselves, others, and their environments.
Niubó’s latest creation is NIUBÓ, a design+art project that explores the superpower of color through intentional expressions. NIUBÓ is an evolving collection of art and design objects that bring energy and emotion to impact how we feel in and interact with, the spaces around us.
Niubó’s work has been recognized at high-profile award shows, including D&AD, Cannes Lions, Graphis, and Clio Awards.
