Lauryna Narkeviciute
Lauryna Narkeviciute (b.1991) is a Visual Artist working with new media. In 2014, she finished Photography and Media Arts studies at Vilnius Academy of Arts and, in 2021, started a two-year Master of Fine Art Digital program at the University of the Arts London.
Lauryna Narkeviciute is interested in the relationship between familiar and alien worlds, the manipulation of structure and surface, the intersection between art and technology, physical and digital worlds. Artist explores technology's impact on humans and how it shapes understanding, and extends our senses. Her computer-generated artworks are inseparable from experimentation.
Besides self-initiated projects, she collaborates with various artists, performers, composers and other creators from multiple fields. Her practice includes digital art, audiovisual projects, installations, and art prints.
