MARLENE SIFF

Marlene's work on paper and sculptures depict imagery of personal events and psychological issues. Her pieces' shapes, color, light, space, texture, edges, and movement encourage the viewer's curiosity and invite them to reflect on the image and the story behind it.

The series of works that Marlene presented to the Passion competition are autobiographical and represent a specific passionate incident in her life.

-"Centered" was a vibrant feeling in her life when she felt everything was in unison with her mind and body.

The multi-dimensionality and multi-layering of Siff's pieces reference what one must uncover to penetrate the illusions of reality and reach the mystery and essence of the soul.
