Paula Boyd Farrington

Paula Boyd Farrington works with acrylics, inks, and photography to bring bold colors and vibrant digital collage pieces to life. Her layered intuitive process uses traditional and electronic scissors to blend together images of painted textured abstracts, vintage and contemporary ephemera, and photos, to create dreamscapes of persistent awe and wonder laced with reverence for the grace of our natural world. Her work has been shown at ARTLUCAYA, at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas, at group exhibits at the D’Aguilar Art Foundation, the Hillside House Gallery, and CAB Gallery in Nassau, at The Sanger Gallery and Jag Gallery in Key West, and at the Arts United Florida Gallery in Fort Lauderdale. Her art has been featured in issues of UPPERCASE Magazine and on the covers of a series of coffee table photography books celebrating the people and places of The Bahamas.
