The Audacity

„the audacity“, like all the paintings in this series entitled "What Do Women Want?", focuses on the facial expressions of the protagonists: Wounded, resigned, or inquisitive and implacable, these women challenge the observer outside the painting and invite them to confront with themselves, like a silent and gentle tribunal from which we cannot escape. The artwork is a stylized portrait of an androgynous figure in cool, muted tones, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Sharp features and a direct gaze give the figure an intense presence, contrasted by delicate foliage and floral elements.
