SENSE OF PLACE Exhibition Collection

SeeMe is Pleased to Present SENSE OF PLACE.

Sense of Place explores the human impulse to locate ourselves—to understand where we belong, what we carry with us, and how the places we inhabit shape who we become. Home emerges not as a fixed destination, but as something unstable and evolving: something we leave, return to, recreate, or carry within us.

The eight artists represented consider place as both physical territory and psychological terrain. Their exhibited works move between intimate personal histories and collective experience, tracing how objects, interiors, landscapes, and sensory fragments of experience become embedded within memory and identity.

In Sense of Place, ‘place’ becomes both tangible and intangible: something we inhabit, remember, inherit, lose, and continually redefine.
