Autumnal Equinox

With this piece, I cannot shake the impression that I simply recreated an artwork that already exists within the house you see in front of you. That is to say, I suspect that inside this tiny blue cottage there hangs a framed scene depicting a tinier blue cottage perched on a miniature surging umber cliff. I don’t know what to make of this sense of recursion, except to say that I find it somewhat comforting.
