Avodcado

From her 30 in 30 series, Gabriella Anouk uses precise colored pencils to draw an avocado half with incredibly lifelike detail. By isolating the fruit against a stark white background, she turns an ordinary grocery item into a bold pop-art icon. Anouk captures the bright reflection of light on the mahogany pit and the rich green gradient of the flesh, creating an optical illusion that tricks the eye into seeing a real, three-dimensional object. This demanding daily drawing challenge tests her technical stamina while sharpening her ability to blend photographic precision with the physical weight of everyday forms.
