Blossoms Over Blue Water

In *Blossoms Over Blue Water*, Sherry roots her landscape in the intuitive mark-making of Abstract Expressionism, building thick, impasto clusters of pink blooms over expansive layers of soft blue and turquoise. This expressive brushwork physically animates the canvas, establishing a quiet visual meeting between rippling water and delicate flora. Grounded in the artist's stated reflections on difficult weather, the cool palette and vigorous tactile energy combine to offer a gentle pause, acting as a material reminder that calm and vivid beauty invariably return.
