Tünde Kácsor constructs a turbulent topography through heavy impasto and scraped pigments, contrasting the muted, barren peaks of the background with deeply textured, vibrant cerulean currents below. Drawing from the tradition of expressive landscape painting, the fractured application of blue and black translates her ongoing examination of environmental change into a visceral material surface. The resulting unstable terrain of ice and dark water parallels her exploration of the fluid self, visualizing the emotional resilience required to adapt to an ever-evolving ecology.
