Capture Me

In this highly detailed colored pencil drawing, Gabriella Anouk takes a tiny Barbie toy camera and scales it up to a massive size. Following the Pop Art tradition of turning everyday consumer goods into fine art, Gabriella draws the bright green plastic camera against a plain white background. This simple focus highlights the object's synthetic shine and bold, sculptural shape. Her careful pencil work captures every molded plastic ridge and bright reflection with photographic precision, elevating a familiar childhood toy into a striking contemporary icon.
