Kat Cramer presents a stylized giant cherry tree set against a luminous blue sky, rendering a vibrant hillside entirely saturated with textured, pointillist-like petals. Grounded in her pursuit of expressive organic form, Cramer pushes the physical boundary of the traditional canvas. The dark, weeping branches reach outward to envelop the observer, culminating in a striking sculptural intervention where a single branch physically breaks the two-dimensional plane. Thickly modeled blossoms literally extend and drip off the bottom edge of the artwork, collapsing the distance between the deep painted environment and the viewer's immediate physical space.
