My current black-and-white photography project, Dividing the Estate, captures the preserved woodlands of Princeton, New Jersey, where I grew up. After returning home to care for my mother, I began photographing these woods, realizing they will be my last living connection to a place where my family has lived for generations, a lineage that will end after my mother passes.
