Fragments of Faith

Jun Gueco Cruz constructs an ongoing, modular relief assemblage that maps the unseen processes of biological and spiritual germination. Rendered in an austere, monochromatic palette, the heavily encrusted panels recall the tactile density of Art Informel. Cruz embeds hand-formed, biomorphic seed shapes within rugged, earth-like textures, physically manifesting his concept of human lives planted and cultivated by a divine creator. The intentional negative space between the asymmetrical fragments creates a visual rhythm, presenting faith and physiological growth not as a static destination, but as a continuously accumulating landscape.
