History

History We each carry our own version of history. This string picture is drawn from old 8mm home movies—films whose aging has transformed their colors into something almost impressionistic. Across this softened, shifting past, I’ve placed a grid of black holes. Each one follows the original direction of the string but replaces its color with darkness, marking the gaps, distortions, and disappearances that time leaves in our memories.
