Holding Within

Working in encaustic wax, the surface is built with layers of sea-green, pale yellow, and rich earthy colors imitating the saturated feeling of a humid Pennsylvania afternoon. Drawing on my background as a printmaker, delicate scratches, splatters, and stenciled patterns implicate scale and a hint of forgotten space.
