Impermanence

“Impermanence” considers the loss of a place that once felt deeply familiar. The work focuses on the experience of watching certainty dissolve as memory becomes less reliable, leaving only an emotional impression of somewhere that can no longer be fully returned to. It hints at a form of destruction that is not physical, but occurs through the gradual erosion of memory. The wave-like forms simultaneously comfort and obscure, suggesting that forgetting is not always abrupt, but a slow and natural process that reshapes what remains.
