Sourced from a canoe excursion on the lake fronting his rural Ontario property, Allan O'Marra translates his photographic reference into a vivid aquatic still life. By intentionally ramping up the natural coloration of the yellow blooms and floating lily pads, O'Marra pushes his characteristic high realist approach into a bold study of saturated chroma.
