Mother Me 3

For me, Passages is about the courage to confront uncomfortable truths, particularly those that challenge conventional expectations of women, motherhood, and love. It’s about refusing to be confined by an inherited identity, even when it feels inseparable from one's own. Mother Me is an act of confrontation and resistance—a deeply personal search for autonomy and the freedom to define myself. The images become a record of that transformation. Here, I’m wearing my mother's scarf, deliberately assuming her presence, recreating the woman she presented to the world: composed, elegant, self-possessed, and carefully put together. By becoming her photographically, I begin to question what that appearance concealed.
