Driven by stark black-and-white contrasts, the composition pulls the eye down a deep central corridor flanked by rhythmic rows of light-filled windows. Heavy shadows sprawl across the wide wooden floorboards, echoing the artist's focus on reducing forgotten places to their strongest structural elements.
