Hand-woven in cotton and linen, this diptych utilizes repeating diamond motifs and stepped edges that echo traditional Mesoamerican textiles and architectural forms. A high-contrast palette of cobalt blue, vibrant orange, and pale peach establishes a rhythmic visual tension across the taut surface. Through this rigorous, tactile construction process, May examines how cultural memory and personal identity are interwoven.
