Rendered through the physical carving process of relief woodcut, the composition reduces the quarried stone walls and isolated machinery to their strongest graphic forms. Rather than a strict documentary record, the artist focuses on capturing the psychological weight of the space, prioritizing emotional resonance over reality. Deep gouges and heavy black areas emphasize the monumental scale of the forgotten site, illustrating how time and memory slowly render the ordinary mysterious.
