Snowy Island in Stormy Sky

The currents in this vast woodgrain sky swirl and buck around the floating island. Yet still the mood on the island feels almost placid, or at the very least impassive. Perhaps it’s seen and weathered storms like this before. Does the burst of grain directly behind the house remind anyone else of 19th c. spectral photography? No? Okay.
