Nothing arrives
without first
learning to wait.
Even the evening
does not hurry.
It opens
one quietness
inside another,
until the heart
forgets
which silence
it first belonged to.
The Garden of Twin Stars is a cosmological portrait of twinhood. Two luminous forms hover within a shared red field: one carrying reflective coolness, the other warmth and force. Their relationship is held through distance, tension, and continuity rather than sameness.
The surrounding red atmosphere suggests eros, inheritance, memory, and time, a charged field that allows each presence to emerge according to its own nature. The work reflects on the lives of my twin daughters, whose differences unfold within a shared origin and enduring bond.
The garden invoked here is an interior space where difference is cultivated rather than collapsed into rivalry. Within the wider mythology of Jerusalem Fumes, The Gateway Project, and The Silikind Wars, the painting stands as a pre-conflict vision: polarity sustained before fracture, multiplicity held before ideology hardens.
At its center rests a quiet question:
can two stars grow beneath the same sky without eclipsing one another?
