Eilis Soto grounds her composition in a Symbolist visual language, utilizing the anatomical heart as a central motif of vulnerability and resilience. Working intuitively in oil and mixed media, Soto constructs an atmospheric ground of deep magentas and bruised purples through expressive, textured brushwork. Against this layered surface, crisp musical notations and a luminous treble clef suspend alongside the rendered flesh of the hearts. The physical depth of the paint maps a direct correspondence between the internal rhythms of the human body and the formal structure of sound, creating a space where biological form and musical narrative become visually inseparable.
