Transit

Transit 12 X 36 2026 Riding the PATH train, I’m reminded of the great gospel songs that equate Ezekiel’s vision of “wheels within wheels” with the wheels of a railroad train. The PATH carries us between New Jersey and New York, while the gospel train transports us between different states of being. Ten passengers sit along the bench, while through the windows behind them, wheels and gears merge with the station rushing past. By varying the direction and color of the yarn, I’ve merged these separate images into a single moving scene.
